Use the toolWhat's in the toolkit
Dubai accounting calculators for the questions SMEs actually ask.
These UAE accounting tools cover the four compliance areas where a wrong number gets expensive: corporate tax (the 9% estimator, Small Business Relief checker, qualifying income checker and CT deadline tracker), VAT (5% calculator, deadline tracker, TRN verification and an FTA-compliant tax invoice generator), labour law (gratuity under Federal Decree-Law 33 of 2021) and company formation (setup cost across Dubai mainland and 20+ free zones). Every calculator names the statute it implements, states its assumptions, and links to the deeper guide on our Insights blog.
They're built the way we'd want a client to use them: run the estimate, see which rule drives the result, then decide whether your case has edge conditions worth a proper review. When the estimate raises a real question, the tools link through to our corporate tax, VAT and business setup support, where we prepare the numbers against your actual books. The maths is current for 2026 — including the Small Business Relief sunset at the end of 2026 and the DMTT rules that took effect in January — and we update each tool when the FTA or a Cabinet Decision moves a threshold.
Tools FAQ
Before you run the numbers.
Are these UAE accounting tools really free?
Yes — every calculator on this page is free, with no signup, no email gate and no usage cap. They exist because the same questions (gratuity maths, VAT deadlines, the AED 375,000 corporate tax threshold) come up in almost every first conversation with a Dubai SME, and a working tool answers them faster than a call.
What laws are the calculators built on?
Each tool encodes the specific UAE statute it covers: Federal Decree-Law 47 of 2022 for corporate tax, Federal Decree-Law 8 of 2017 for VAT, Federal Decree-Law 33 of 2021 for gratuity and labour-law calculations, plus the Cabinet Decisions that set thresholds like Small Business Relief (AED 3M) and the QFZP de-minimis test. The statutory basis is named on every tool page.
Can I rely on a tool result for an FTA filing?
Use them for estimates and planning, not filings. The calculators handle the headline rates and thresholds correctly, but they can't see your contracts, adjustments or edge cases — transfer pricing, tax groups, foreign tax credits and DIFC/ADGM specifics all sit outside their scope. Before a return goes to the FTA, have the numbers prepared against your actual books.
Which tool should I start with?
Most Dubai SMEs start with the UAE Corporate Tax Calculator to size their 9% liability, then the VAT Deadline Tracker to pin their next return date. Free zone companies should run the Qualifying Income Checker early — breaching the de-minimis limit costs the 0% rate for five tax periods, so it pays to know your margin before year-end.
How does the UAE VAT calculator work?
The VAT calculator applies the standard 5% rate under Federal Decree-Law 8 of 2017. Enter an amount and it splits the net, the 5% VAT and the gross both ways — VAT-exclusive (add 5% on top) and VAT-inclusive (extract the VAT already baked into a price) — and handles zero-rated, exempt and reverse-charge cases. It's the fastest way to check a line before it goes on an invoice or a VAT-201 return.
How is UAE corporate tax calculated in these tools?
The UAE Corporate Tax Calculator applies 0% on the first AED 375,000 of taxable income and 9% above it under Federal Decree-Law 47 of 2022. It also models Small Business Relief — 0% CT while revenue stays at or under AED 3 million, an election available up to 31 December 2026 — and the 0% Qualifying Free Zone Person rate. The CT return is due nine months after your financial year end.
How much end-of-service gratuity will the gratuity calculator show?
The UAE gratuity calculator uses the Article 51 formula in Federal Decree-Law 33 of 2021: 21 days of basic pay per year for the first five years of service and 30 days per year beyond five, pro-rated for part-years and capped at two years' total pay. It runs on basic salary, not gross, and covers mainland and federal-law free zone contracts.
How do I verify a UAE TRN with the TRN verification tool?
A valid UAE Tax Registration Number is 15 digits. The TRN verification tool checks the format and shows what a genuine TRN looks like on a supplier's tax invoice, so you can spot an invalid or missing number before you reclaim input VAT. For a live status check, confirm the number on the FTA's own TRN verification service — our tool explains the field and where to look.
