1. Who We Are
Velmont Crest is the trading name of an accounting practice operated in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The practice provides accounting, bookkeeping, VAT and corporate tax advisory, preparation and support services to small and medium-sized enterprises across Dubai mainland, UAE free zones and the wider UAE.
Every engagement is scoped in writing before work begins. The nature, limits and deliverables of the services are recorded in the engagement documentation, and nothing on this Website extends the scope of any engagement beyond what that documentation records.

2. What We Are Not
Clarity about the boundary of our role protects clients as much as it protects the practice. Velmont Crest:
2.1 Regulatory boundaries
- Not a registered tax agent. — Velmont Crest is not registered as a tax agent with the UAE Federal Tax Authority under Federal Decree-Law No. 28 of 2022 on Tax Procedures. We prepare, organise and support — the taxable person remains the party of record before the FTA, and any formal representation before the FTA requires a registered tax agent appointed by the client.
- Not a licensed audit firm. — We do not conduct statutory audits, issue audit opinions or sign auditor's reports. Where an engagement touches audit preparation, our role is limited to preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation for the client's appointed licensed auditor.
- Not a law firm. — Nothing we publish or deliver constitutes legal advice. Where matters require legal interpretation, clients should engage UAE-qualified legal counsel.
- Not a licensed financial-services provider. — We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, banking, insurance or any activity regulated by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority, the Central Bank of the UAE, the DFSA or the FSRA.

3. Advisory Nature of Services
Our deliverables — bookkeeping records, VAT return preparation, corporate tax computations, management reports, compliance calendars and advisory memoranda — are prepared with professional care on the basis of the information, records and instructions the client provides.
Filing decisions, elections, declarations and submissions to any authority remain the client's decisions. Where we prepare a return or computation, the client reviews and approves it before it is filed, and the client (or its registered tax agent, where appointed) performs the filing of record.

Articles, guides, calculators, checklists and other tools published on this Website are general information prepared for a broad audience. They are not advice for any specific person or situation, and reading them does not create a client relationship with Velmont Crest.
4.1 How to use our published content
- Verify before acting. — UAE tax legislation, Cabinet Decisions, Ministerial Decisions and FTA guidance change frequently. Content is accurate to the best of our knowledge at its stated publication or update date, but the law in force at the time of your transaction governs.
- Calculators are estimates. — Interactive tools on this Website produce indicative figures from the inputs you supply. They do not account for every fact pattern, relief, exemption or transitional rule, and their outputs are not filings, rulings or advice.
- Official sources prevail. — Where our content summarises legislation or FTA guidance, the official text published by the UAE government and the Federal Tax Authority always prevails over our summary.

5. No Warranty on Outcomes
Tax positions, penalty outcomes, refund timing, registration processing times and authority responses depend on facts, evidence and the judgement of the relevant authority. Velmont Crest does not warrant or guarantee any particular outcome from any authority, court or counterparty, and past results described on this Website do not promise future results.
