About Velmont Crest

About Velmont Crest — the Dubai accounting firm that doesn't sell fear.

Most UAE accounting firms open with a penalty headline, an FTA warning or an audit threat. Velmont Crest opens with clean books. Fixed-fee retainers quoted upfront, scope agreed in writing, and questions answered in plain English by the team actually working on your books, across Dubai mainland and UAE free zones.

Dubai accounting firm

Where's the fear pitch? We left it out.

Most UAE accounting pitches open with a fear: the AED 10,000 late-registration penalty, the surprise FTA notice, the auditor refusing to sign off, the deadline you nearly missed. Velmont Crest is built on the opposite premise. The work is the work. Clean monthly bookkeeping, FTA-compliant VAT-201 returns, corporate tax filed well inside the nine-month window, and audit-ready evidence files kept current. It runs on a calm monthly rhythm, so none of those threats ever becomes your story. CFO-level advisory sits alongside, when you want a second pair of eyes on the numbers.

As an SME accounting firm in the UAE, the practice is licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DED) and works around UAE compliance requirements: Federal Tax Authority rules for 5% VAT and the AED 375,000 registration threshold, Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 for corporate tax (0% up to AED 375,000, 9% above), AML advisory under Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018, and free-zone requirements across DMCC, JAFZA, DIFC, ADGM, IFZA, RAKEZ and other authorities. We follow the rules so we can quietly do the work, not so we can lecture you about them.

The model is deliberately transparent. One fixed monthly retainer, quoted in writing before any work begins — never an hourly meter running behind a curtain. No hourly billing surprises. No long-term lock-in contracts. Scope agreed in writing before any work begins. When something changes, whether your invoice volume grows, your VAT category shifts, or a new free-zone rule lands, we tell you openly, not as urgency on an invoice. And you talk to the team actually working on your books, mostly over WhatsApp.

From the founder

Abdullah Al Mamun, founder of Velmont Crest.

"Most business owners don't need a tax genius. They need someone who picks up the phone, tells them the truth about their numbers, and doesn't make them feel stupid for asking. That's the accountant I kept hearing people couldn't find in Dubai — so I decided to be that guy for them."

Founder story

Why I stopped selling fear.

I'm Abdullah, founder of Velmont Crest. Before I tell you what we do, I'd rather tell you what we don't do. We don't sell fear.

After 8+ years inside UAE accounting, I watched too many sales conversations start with a threat: the AED 10,000 late-registration fine, the corporate tax deadline you'll miss, the FTA notice you can't handle alone, the auditor who'll refuse to sign. I understand the temptation. Fear closes deals fast. But it also makes accounting feel like an emergency room instead of a calm professional service, and it leaves clients spending their decisions on what they're afraid of instead of what they're building.

The real problem with SME books rarely starts at a deadline. It starts much earlier, in the small monthly details: invoices posted to the wrong VAT code, supplier bills kept without proper backup, bank accounts left unreconciled, tax questions postponed until year-end. By the time someone looks closely, what should have been a quiet monthly rhythm has become an expensive cleanup. The penalty is the symptom, not the cause.

I'd rather catch a small mistake this month than rebuild your whole year next spring. And I'm not going to charge you extra for panicking about it.

Velmont Crest is built around that idea. We keep the accounting moving month by month: bookkeeping closed on a steady rhythm, VAT-201 returns prepared on time, corporate tax tracked through the year against the policy framework set by the UAE Ministry of Finance, audit-ready records kept current in the background. That holds true on Dubai mainland and inside a UAE free zone. The discipline is what replaces the fear pitch. The work just gets done.

The experience is meant to feel clearer than the usual accounting relationship. Scope is agreed in writing before the work begins, and the fee is a fixed monthly number you see in the proposal — not something that grows behind a curtain. Questions get straight answers from the team actually working on your books, not a sales handler at the front desk. If your transaction volume grows, your VAT category shifts, or a new free-zone rule lands, we tell you openly. Never as urgency on an invoice.

Most of all, I wanted Velmont Crest to feel human. When you're unsure how to treat an invoice, whether a cost is deductible, or how a decision affects VAT or corporate tax, you should be able to ask and get a straight answer in plain English. No "you might be in trouble" framing. Just the right answer, in the same hour you asked.

That is the whole idea: your numbers should feel like a calm monthly conversation, not an annual emergency. You should know where your business stands, what is coming next, and what decisions need attention before they become problems. No one should be using that uncertainty against you.

If your books have been sitting quietly at the back of your mind, I'd be glad to look at where things stand and show you what steady, FTA-compliant accounting can feel like — without the fear pitch. No pressure, no template scare-pack, just an honest conversation.

Why SMEs stay with us.

UAE SMEs hire us for accounting that stays close to the numbers: cleaner books, VAT returns filed on time, corporate tax kept ready, and monthly reporting they can actually use.

  • UAE accounting focus

We work on UAE accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, corporate tax, audit support and AML advisory for SMEs across Dubai mainland and free zone companies. The workflows are built for local filing rules, not borrowed from a generic playbook.

  • FTA-compliant tax workflow

Every monthly close, VAT-201 return, corporate tax provision and audit workpaper is prepared around FTA deadlines, evidence requirements and five-year record retention, so compliance is handled before year-end pressure starts.

  • Fixed monthly accounting fees

Fixed-fee accountants in Dubai, with clear retainers quoted upfront for UAE SME accounting services. No hourly billing surprises, no vague scope invoices, no lock-in. You know the exact cost before any work starts, and it grows predictably.

  • Responsive WhatsApp advisory

Questions about VAT treatment, corporate tax exposure, invoices or bookkeeping entries are answered by the team working on your records. The goal is simple: resolve accounting questions before they become filing problems.

No penalty pitch in sight.
